Diesel’s the name and rescuing you is my game. Really, you need me. It has been proven that people who have dogs are healthier than those who don’t. Walking me is an excellent preventative against heart disease. Petting me reduces stress levels due to the release of oxytocin and can also cause your blood pressure to lower.
I'm a duel companion - your best friend when we are home alone and your social partner when we go out for walks.Come on, let me rescue you. You'll be glad I did.
Diesel has already been neutered and is looking for his forever home. The adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations and deworming, Frontline application, spay or neuter surgery, collar, ID tag and a leash. A $35 (non-refundable) deposit will hold the pet for you for 5 days.

How To Adopt
Adoption Requirements
The biggest requirement is that you are emotionally and financially ready to take care of and LOVE your new pet. You need a picture ID and if you are an apartment dweller you need to verify with your landlord that your pet is approved. Before leaving with your pet we will need to verify with your chosen veterinarian that an appointment has been made. We want to do everything possible to insure that the animals in our care transition to a caring environment.

What are the adoption fees?
Cats/Kittens – $125 and up
Puppies – $215 and up
Dogs – $200 and up
* Fees vary based on age and desirability of the specific dog or cat.
Why are there adoption fees?
The adoption fee includes the cost of spay/neuter surgery and a rabies vaccination for your new pet. To ensure your pet’s overall health and well-being, we require a visit with your own veterinarian for a check-up and any additional vaccinations that may be needed. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the support of our community through adoption fees, donations, and bequests to continue our mission of providing care for homeless animals and promoting spay/neuter programs for dogs and cats.
