Meet Chunk
Labrador Retriever / Husky / Mixed (short coat)
Medium Young Male (neutered)
Woof! Hi there, I’m Chunk, the most adorable and playful puppy you’ll ever meet! I’m around 4 to 5 months old, and life is just a tail-wagging adventure for me every single day. From the moment I open my little puppy eyes in the morning, I’m ready to bounce into action. I greet the day with a flurry of wiggles, excited yips, and a wet nose that’s always ready for some friendly sniffs. My tail wags so vigorously that it feels like a fluffy propeller propelling me into the world of fun!Oh, did I mention how much I love to play? It’s my absolute favorite thing! Whether it’s chasing after a bouncy ball, pouncing on a squeaky toy, or engaging in an epic game of tug-of-war, I’m always up for a good time.
The thrill of the chase, the joy of a well-timed leap, and the satisfying squeaks and squishes under my paws make my heart leap with excitement. .I’m still discovering the world around me, and everything seems so fascinating! The crunchy leaves in the park, the fluttering butterflies in the garden, and the chirping birds overhead are all captivating sights and sounds that ignite my curiosity. I love exploring, sniffing every nook and cranny, and leaving tiny paw prints behind as a mark of my adventures.
When it's time for a break from all the playfulness, I melt hearts with my puppy-dog eyes and the gentle nudge of my soft snout. I love cuddling up in a cozy spot, preferably on a warm, squishy lap. There's nothing quite like a good belly rub or a gentle scratch behind the ears to make me drift off into puppy dreamland.
But wait, did I mention how much I adore my human family? They’re my pack, and I’m their loyal and loving companion. They shower me with endless love, affection, and belly laughs as I zoom around the house, leaving a trail of fluffy chaos in my wake. Their giggles and smiles fuel my puppy spirit, and I can’t help but wag my tail with joy at the sight of them.Life as a playful pup named Chunk is full of wagging tails, slobbery kisses, and boundless energy.
I’m on a mission to spread happiness, love, and endless cuteness to everyone I meet. So let’s play, explore, and make unforgettable memories together, because being a puppy is the best thing ever! Woof woof. Chunk has already been neutered and is looking for his forever home! How To Adopt
Adoption Requirements
The biggest requirement is that you are emotionally and financially ready to take care of and LOVE your new pet. You need a picture ID and if you are an apartment dweller you need to verify with your landlord that your pet is approved. Before leaving with your pet we will need to verify with your chosen veterinarian that an appointment has been made. We want to do everything possible to insure that the animals in our care transition to a caring environment.
- State or Government issued ID
- Minimum age of 21
- Verifiable veterinarian
- Pet must live inside
- Fenced yard is a plus
- Home check if there are any questions
What are the adoption fees?
Cats/Kittens – $125 and up
Puppies – $215 and up
Dogs – $200 and up
* Fees vary based on age and desirability of the specific dog or cat.
Why are there adoption fees?
The adoption fee includes the cost of spay/neuter surgery and a rabies vaccination for your new pet. To ensure your pet’s overall health and well-being, we require a visit with your own veterinarian for a check-up and any additional vaccinations that may be needed. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the support of our community through adoption fees, donations, and bequests to continue our mission of providing care for homeless animals and promoting spay/neuter programs for dogs and cats.
