Meet Ace
German Shepherd Dog / Belgian Shepherd Malinois / Mixed (short coat)
Medium Adult Male (neutered)
Woof! Hey there, I’m Ace, and I’ve got quite the story to tell. You see, I wasn’t always living the ruff life. I was caught up in a tough situation—a hoarding situation, to be exact. The woman in charge was charged with animal cruelty, and rightfully so. It was a tough time for all of us.
In that chaotic environment, I didn’t have much structure or love. It was a struggle just to survive each day. But despite everything, I held onto hope. And now, here I am, ready to turn over a new leaf and find my forever home.
Sure, I might have some trust issues, especially when it comes to sharing my toys. Can you blame me after what I’ve been through? But deep down, I’m still that intelligent, confident guy who’s eager to learn and eager to love. If you don’t have some patience, I may not be the one for you.
At 6 years old, I've seen my fair share of hardships, but I haven't lost my spirit. I'm already neutered and ready to start fresh with a family who understands my breed and is willing to give me the love and patience I need to thrive.
So if you’re up for the challenge of helping me heal and grow, I promise to repay you with endless loyalty and affection. Let’s leave the past behind us and start a new chapter together. Are you ready to give this survivor the loving home he deserves? ❤️
The adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations and deworming, Frontline application, spay or neuter surgery, collar, ID tag and a leash. A $35 (non-refundable) deposit will hold the pet for you for 5 days.

How To Adopt
Adoption Requirements
The biggest requirement is that you are emotionally and financially ready to take care of and LOVE your new pet. You need a picture ID and if you are an apartment dweller you need to verify with your landlord that your pet is approved. Before leaving with your pet we will need to verify with your chosen veterinarian that an appointment has been made. We want to do everything possible to insure that the animals in our care transition to a caring environment.
- State or Government issued ID
- Minimum age of 21
- Verifiable veterinarian
- Pet must live inside
- Fenced yard is a plus
- Home check if there are any questions
What are the adoption fees?
Cats/Kittens – $125 and up
Puppies – $215 and up
Dogs – $200 and up
* Fees vary based on age and desirability of the specific dog or cat.
Why are there adoption fees?
The adoption fee includes the cost of spay/neuter surgery and a rabies vaccination for your new pet. To ensure your pet’s overall health and well-being, we require a visit with your own veterinarian for a check-up and any additional vaccinations that may be needed. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the support of our community through adoption fees, donations, and bequests to continue our mission of providing care for homeless animals and promoting spay/neuter programs for dogs and cats.
